Our collaboration with the Cossette agency
Since 2017, NSI Canada has been working closely with the creative marketing and communication agency Cossette, recently providing testing support during the redesign of a major tourism sector website for one of its clients, to ensure the quality of the platform and deliver a stable experience to end users.
Project Overview
In summary
- 10 devices used for testing
- Compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards
- Agile support
- Reporting of functional, ergonomic, graphical, and spelling bugs.
This project spanned six months, during which NSI testers worked using an agile methodology.
NSI adopted a multi-device exploratory approach across different parts of the site (2 computers, 6 phones, and 2 tablets with various operating systems) to best represent the users' environment, thereby detecting numerous functional, ergonomic, graphical, and spelling bugs.
With 15% of the global population having at least one visual, motor, or cognitive disability, the digital agency wanted to ensure their client’s site complied with WCAG AA 2.2 standards and, above all, offered a pleasant user experience for all. NSI also worked on all aspects related to digital accessibility.
All bugs and fix tracking were managed through our collaborative bug tracking tool, BugTrapp, which contributed to the smooth progress of the project. The NSI project manager ensured organization, coordination, and communication with the various teams involved (Project Director, Developers, Digital Product Managers, etc.), enabling the project’s successful completion.
